Locked Print
Did you know that with many of today’s multi-functional printers, the large, shared office fax, scan, and copy devices, you can protect the confidentiality of the files you print?
Typically, the software installed on your computer provides a function called “locked-print,” which allows you to send documents (print jobs) to the device, where they will be securely held and encrypted until someone (the authorized user) walks up to the device and prints them. You don’t even need an IT professional.
If you want to learn more or research how the function works for your office device, Google “locked print <device manufacturer name>”.
