Case Study: Network Infrastructure for Behavioral/Mental Health Organization
Fortis Cyber Solutions helped a Behavioral/Mental Health organization in Central Ohio to build out their suite’s network infrastructure. The suite houses 30 employees, and the goal was to allow employees to share Central Processing Units or CPUs with one another and the internet. The project included pulling cables through walls to connect 30 laptops, installing Wi-Fi, and configuring other network equipment.
Our experts laid 3000 ft of CAT6 low voltage cabling throughout the environment, a series of patch panels, a firewall, and access points throughout the suite. In addition to that, Fortis Cyber Solutions Engineers installed two large Ricoh multi-functional printers with custom configurations like direct email from the printer to individuals within the organization. The project was completed in under 20 hours using Ubiquiti and WatchGuard.
Finally, we programmed the company’s phone extensions with VoIP and cloud PBX. There were zero complaints on speed, performance, and accessibility, which means that the project was seamless and met expectations. This time of year, there are a lot of cybersecurity threats, so switches from Ubiquiti, firewall, and Ubiquiti access points were installed throughout the suite to ensure security.
